Best Picture: The Departed

Just as it was an amazing experience to work on The Departed, it was equally an amazing experience watching them win. I never miss the Academy Awards, people make fun of me because its a lot like my "superbowl." But this was the first time that when the winners thanked people, I actually knew personally who they were talking about. To echo what I wrote on my definitive Departed post back in September of 2005, it was an amazing learning experience, and I was so grateful to be a part of it.
