New York City.

It's officially been a week since I moved to New York City, and thanks to Gregg, I had a roof over my head before I found a place to live. I'm living in Brooklyn, on the border of Bed-Stuy and Clinton Hill. The Neighborhood is predominantly made up of brown stones, and is a short 25-30 minute train ride to work.

My first week of work went extremely well, it consisted of auditions and test shoots in preparation for the shoots that will be begin May 15th. Work day lasts till 6:30 or 7. I'm certainly going to have to get into the groove of things as far as making myself food. I went out to eat all but one night last week, which, is not a good idea!

My apartment is nice, its on the ground floor, windows to the street, very bright, clean, and new. Gregg showed a lot of things to me, and I'm slowly getting an understanding of the layout of the neighborhood.

There are a lot of adjustments to be made here, everything from where I get my groceries, to living with a roommate. I've never been one whose easily adjustable, I'd have trouble going to a different Shaws back in Watertown. But, I suppose I've made the adjustment well. The thing is, a change like this was a necessity, I needed to stir things up in my life, and start moving in the direction that I've wanted to for a long time. This is the beginning of a new chapter of my life, and I honestly feel like I've finally begun my true post-graduate life after college.

Destination: Manhattan

In an effort to continue to grow as a person, I've finally set things in motion for a huge life change. In less then two weeks, I'll be moving to New York City for a new job.

A move like this has been inevitable, the question always was when, and where. I went back and forth between Los Angeles and New York, and my motto was, I'll go where I'm able to find an opportunity.

I'll write more about what I'll be doing down there, but right now, I just wanted to announce where I'd be going, and when. I start work April 16th, and unfortunately, there won't be any break between my work at Extech and my new job. No sense slowly getting into the pool, might as well dive right in!

I'll miss my coworkers from the job here. I'll miss my parents, Razmig, Chrissy, Jeff, and my other friends. But I'm fortunate that I'm only a four hour bus ride from home. And of course, I've got friends down in NYC that'll obviously help my transition.

more to come later!

do you?

Spinning and spinning.
Dancing in plastic, shake-up snow.
Do you believe in what you want?
