Happy 2008
I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve, I had just a few people over for movies and scene it, I think we all had a blast.
2007 was definitely a strange year, if you had asked me in December of 2006 how 2007 was going to be, I would have never guessed. I would have never guessed I would have lived in New York, and when I was IN New York, I never would have guessed I'd move back. I surprise myself sometimes.
I think moving to New York was very important for my own professional growth, and I'm definitely a different person now that I'm back in MA then I was when I left. I learned a lot about myself, and I'm glad I did it. I do miss New York terribly.
New Year Resolutions:
-Get back into my podcasting: I've got a dozen ideas, both news, and narrative related. Need to start things back up!
-Launch the sites that I have waiting in the wings: I've been amassing all these domain names for quite a while, both blog, and podcast related. Quit wasting time, launch these sites!
-Join a Gym: This wouldn't be a New Year's Resolution list if this wasn't on there. I think some sort of regular exercise other then sitting and typing at a keyboard would be beneficial. Though, I will wait till after January, and all the other people who put this on their list will have quit going to the gym. Maybe I'll ride my bike every morning once the weather gets nicer, I'd much rather do that then sit in a gym.
-Visit New York once a month: Who knows if this'll happen, but, I'd like to go down and see my New York friends.
-Take a vacation somewhere.
-Save: I gotta quit wasting money. Please Steve Jobs, don't release another amazing device that I'll wanna get at Macworld in the next two weeks.
Happy New Year everyone!
